Wanzl North America opens Corporate Center in Denver

NC as phase of Growth Plan

Wanzl North America recently opened its newly constructed Corporate Center in Denver, NC, which has become the company’s headquarters for North America. Previously, all operations were located in Newton, NC, which are now dedicated manufacturing locations, with Plants 1, 2 and 3 all continuing to operate there.

The Wanzl North America Corporate Center, located at 1019 Lincoln Commerce Ct., Denver NC 28037, opened in June 2024, primarily with office functions, including R&D, a new development laboratory, as well as an innovative company cantina, utilizing the latest Wanzl autonomous shopping technology and store environment solutions. The location also features an 80,000 square-foot distribution facility.

"Wanzl North America’s significant growth over the last few years, combined with closer proximity to Charlotte, made this location in Denver an ideal choice for our Corporate Center", explains Ben Hinnen, Wanzl North America CEO. Distribution of Shelving & Fixtures, Material Handling, and Access & Digital Solutions for customer flow business lines have moved to Denver, making the Corporate Center an operational facility, in addition to being an office location. Approximately 60 employees are working in Denver as the facility opened, with the ability to increase to around 100, as the company continues to grow. The shopping cart manufacturing facility in Newton, NC, with over 300 employees, will be renovated in the coming months, particularly focusing on employee wellbeing, as well as significant investment in manufacturing equipment.
