In response to the federal Transparency in Coverage Rule, issued by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Department of Labor, and the Department of the Treasury, machine-readable files created through UnitedHealthcare, UMR and HealthSCOPE Benefits are published on behalf of Wanzl North America, which include negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and healthcare providers. The machine-readable files are formatted to allow the public, especially researchers, regulators, and application developers, to have access to health coverage information that can be used to understand health care pricing.
