Wanzl: KT-U order picking cart

Pick and transport orders flexibly, using a modular solution that is individually adjustable and complies with European standards: The new, versatile KT-U order picking cart from Wanzl combines all these benefits in one.


The KT-U order picking cart starts off as a basic frame consisting of a chassis with a base surface made of a fine-mesh grate. There are two varieties to choose from, both of which are manufactured to European standards, with basic measurements of 400 x 600 mm / 15.7 x 23.6 inches or 600 x 800 mm / 23.6 x 31.5 inches. The basic version of the KT-U order picking cart by Wanzl can be used as a separate transporter: It can carry plastic boxes, wire baskets, or other transport means with plenty of space for the products, stacked in accordance with European standards, and offering a load capacity of up to 150 kg / 330.7 lbs.

Flexible design

As an option, two side panels made from solid square tube frames with wire mesh that have a durable, high-gloss galvanized chrome-plated surface can easily be clicked into the chassis and secured with two spring clips. A fixed pole ensures the cart remains stable enough to support several wire shelves with transport containers. Customized designs are also available at any time; the modifications can be made quickly and cheaply without the need for tools. This modularity ensures that the KT-U order picking cart is the ideal order picking unit and transporter for a diverse range of applications in industry and trade.

Flexible design

Transportation in a train of carts

Wanzl has fitted the standard version of the KT-U order picking cart with a cart hitch, enabling you to connect several carts together to form a train for transporting products efficiently. If the KT-U is used independently, the cart hitch folds away to save space. At the customer’s request, Wanzl can also provide the new order picking cart without the cart hitch. Two fixed casters and two swivel casters or alternatively four swivel casters – made by Wanzl – guarantee the KT-U will provide long-lasting durability and mobility.
