"Customised Connections" – connections specifically tailored to the customer – is the motto of Wanzl Access Solutions at this year’s Security trade fair. The trade fair was a complete success for Wanzl. New contacts were made and existing ones maintained. "Overall, we were extremely satisfied with the results of the Security trade fair. Our distinctive stand received consistently positive feedback from visitors and we had numerous intensive discussions," summarises Ralf Aubele, Business Unit Manager Wanzl Access Solutions. The stand was particularly busy on the main days, Wednesday and Thursday, with many international visitors, which was also confirmed by those responsible for the trade fair. Andreas Fischer, Head of Sales for Wanzl Access Solutions: "The large number of international guests, especially from Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, means two things for us – on the one hand, this speaks volumes for Security as the Europe’s largest leading trade fair, and, on the other hand, there are business opportunities here for us, in particular with respect to potential resellers." However, there is also cause for criticism. "It is a pity that big players like Bosch, Siemens or Dormakaba have withdrawn from the trade fair. In our opinion, the number of visitors suffered as a result." Andreas Fischer, on the other hand, was positive about the new hall structure, which was arranged according to themes: "The concentration of virtually all suppliers of access products in one hall does mean more competition, but that's exactly when it is possible to excel and stand out. In addition, a small radius of action makes it easier for interested visitors to find the products they are looking for." H15 ticket machine and Galaxy turnstile: At Security, Wanzl presented networked solutions for smart access.
H15 ticket machine and Galaxy turnstile: at Security, Wanzl presented networked solutions for smart access. Visitors looking for innovative products for secure, convenient and individual access found what they were looking for at Wanzl. In focus: smart comprehensive solutions. For the first time, only networked access systems for payment access in chain restaurants, visitor management in companies or reception in VIP areas were presented. This shows that Wanzl is reacting to the trend of the times. "Customers now only want one contact for the implementation of their solution. Pure hardware sales are becoming rarer. At Wanzl we are following this development and positioning ourselves as a solution and system provider," says Ralf Aubele.
Whether customers opt for the brand new H15 ticket machines in combination with the Galaxy turnstile or the elegant Galaxy Gate access control system with the stylish V21 ticket machine – all our products are compatible with each other and together form fully automatic, integrated access systems. According to Andreas Fischer, this is something that customers also notice: “What we do is followed very closely. We sell solutions and no longer just products. As a system supplier, we offer hardware and software from a single source and, if required, comprehensive services such as customer support 24/7." Wanzl focuses particularly on the leisure industry, for example fitness studios, stadiums and museums, as well as on the facility management segment. "In these industries, effective, reliable and fully integrated entrance systems play an important role. We are convinced that we can fully meet these requirements and offer our customers ideal, customised solutions," says Ralf Aubele confidently.
