In 2022, Wanzl decided to promote and support precisely this kind of culture. The nucleus is the Wanzl Innovation Hub, which stands for innovation in the Wanzl Group and identifies and promotes innovative topics in Germany and around the world.
The InnoHub is the central location for the exchange of ideas for innovative products and solutions. In this process, we take up ideas that have their origins in changing customer needs, new technologies and social changes. The most relevant topics for the Wanzl Group are identified and developed from a large number of ideas. Together with experts from various departments, we drive innovation projects forward until they grow wings of their own.
Record your purchase when placing it into the shopping trolley, thus skipping the time-consuming checkout altogether. (Wouldn't that be great?) Our Smart Trolley makes this vision a reality in an easy way. Using the integrated scanner, the customer can record the individual items they take off the shelves and, with the display integrated in the handle, keep track of their purchases and the final amount to be paid. Artificial intelligence monitors whether the scanned items match the items placed in the trolley. The customer and operator save time and effort as there is no need to wait and repack at the checkout.
