The trolleys are made available via two vending units with touchscreen technology and intuitive operation. Customers pay a deposit for the trolley of US$10 by cash or card, which is refunded when the trolley is returned.
After an 18-month project duration, the first order for the latest generation of vending units plus trolleys was placed by Simon Brand Ventures, which operates more than 50 malls in the United States. Our first collaboration has got off to a good start, and there is lots of scope for further cooperation between Simon Brand Ventures, Wanzl and Thompson Contract, Wanzl’s US sales partner for airports and airport products.
