Wanzl supports relief efforts

It has become a well-established tradition at Wanzl to work closely with the Günzburg Lions Club during the Christmas season on a selected aid project. This year, the donation will be used for the construction of a health centre in Burkina Faso.
A total of 10,000 euros was donated, including the generous contribution by Wanzl. As in previous years, the company decided not to give Christmas presents to its business partners. Instead, the company wanted to participate in the fundraising campaign. "The traditional Christmas donation campaign together with the Lions Club Günzburg is very close to our hearts. This is also appreciated by our partners who, like us, are happy to make a contribution every year," said Gottfried Wanzl, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Wanzl Group at the cheque presentation. Torsten Strehle (President of the Lions Club Günzburg) and Dr Hans Werdich (Treasurer of the Lions Club Günzburg) said: “We are extremely delighted to receive this support. In the name of the Lions Club International Foundation and the local workers in Burkina Faso, we wish to extend our warm gratitude to Wanzl."
