Safety first – this is guaranteed thanks to the car seat tray, supplied exclusively fully assembled on shopping trolleys. The safety belt, which is compatible with most conventional infant restraint systems, secures the car seat firmly in place on the tray. The pictograms provided make it clear and simple to use the tray correctly. Wanzl delivers extra safety in the form of the lockable castors, installed as standard at the rear of each shopping trolley featuring the car seat tray.
For little ones who want to feel like grown ups, Wanzl supplies colourful children’s trolleys designed especially for young shoppers. The Tangolino for instance, looks the part, is nice and colourful, and is very easy to manoeuvre. Mum is always happy when the kids are occupied. Kids’ exuberance has been taken into account in the trolley design, as it can withstand a lot and won’t damage a thing.
If you want customers in all kinds of situations to feel at home in the supermarket, additional trolley types, some of which are smaller, can offer that little bit of extra comfort that makes all the difference. The 77- and 90-litre Tango 90 E models are ideal shopping assistants for smaller households – whether bachelors or senior citizens – or when it’s just a quick trip to the shop. The extra legroom and weight savings provided by the plastic basket are particularly convenient features for customers. Child-friendliness is an important factor in these models too. Tango City models are equipped with a child safety seat goods storage section as standard, which can be delivered in a wire version for the Tango 90 E. The Salsa shopping trolley represents a new generation in plastic shopping trolleys: with its fresh design and very smooth motion, this trolley brings rhythm to the market. The 95-litre version, ideal for short shopping trips, solo shoppers or in city supermarkets and convenience stores, also serves as a great second shopping trolley. The Salsa 200, meanwhile, is especially designed for large supermarkets and hypermarkets, as this model’s enormous 200-litre capacity makes convenient shopping a reality even for large families.
The Light range of shopping trolleys is very easy to handle and makes the ideal assistant for small shops, thanks to its volume of either 70 or 100 litres. The flat basket shape allows easy loading at a comfortable height, and generous legroom makes it particularly easy to push – both features much appreciated by customers with particular needs. The EKW shopping trolley also makes shopping easier for wheelchair users and improves quality of life for people with disabilities. It can be individually coupled and allows for unrestricted, independent shopping.
