Unlock Your 24/7 access – Discover the future of gyms

Wanzl Access Solutions at FIBO 2025 in Cologne (Hall 8, Booth C15)

Access at all hours that is fully automated, reliable and staff-free: Wanzl Access Solutions is redefining the future of access solutions for gyms. Under the motto “Unlock Your 24/7 Access: Discover the future of gyms” the access specialist invites you to FIBO in Cologne from 10 to 13 April – the world’s largest trade fair for fitness, wellness and health – in Hall 8, Booth C15. The elegant Galaxy Gate 1.1 access gate coupled with ceiling sensors, the barrier-free Galaxyport Pro and the Sirio turnstile, which can be controlled centrally via the Wanzl Access Manager, will be presented. In addition to innovative access systems, visitors can also expect to see the new neoHub self-service terminal as a modern ticketing solution for gyms. In addition, studio operators benefit from Wanzl’s many years of expertise as an interior designer for the retail sector. At the trade fair, the interiors specialist will be showcasing its elegant lockers, which enhance any changing room.

Fully automated access

Wanzl offers a fully automated access solution with the elegant Galaxy Gate 1.1 access gate, which can be perfectly adapted to the studio's aesthetic concept. It is easy to use, reliable and can be equipped with various readers to suit the studio operator’s requirements. The software-monitored, electric motor-driven toughened safety glass swivel arms open immediately after successful authentication using barcodes, RFID cards or biometric facial recognition. Coupled with ceiling sensors, the Gate’s intelligent sensors detect tampering attempts, such as crawling under, climbing over, pushing or holding open.

Access solution for all your needs

The Wanzl Galaxyport Pro expands the access solutions with a barrier-free passage for wheelchair users and goods suppliers, and serves as an additional escape route solution. It allows passages of up to 1,750 mm and blends stylishly into any environment with its slim powder-coated columns. The swivel arms open in two directions via a control panel or an RFID reader integrated in the glass dome. These are illuminated and indicate the current operation and release status.

Quick access – individual selection

At FIBO, Wanzl will be presenting the Sirio turnstile available with 2 or 3 arms for efficient and fast individual entry as a particularly compact solution that requires little space. Up to 25 people can be admitted and registered per minute. In the event of tampering attempts or unauthorised access, an optional audible alarm sounds. In an emergency, the Sirio is freely rotatable.

Central control for maximum safety

All installed access systems can be controlled centrally via the Wanzl Access Manager. The entire passage area can be visualised and managed in real time, activities are logged and statistics on alarms and visitor numbers can be viewed. Remote access ensures that a service technician can access the gates from anywhere and perform software updates and remote diagnostics at any time. This reduces staff workload, avoids waiting times, optimises internal processes and increases safety and convenience for everyone involved.

Ticketing made easy

The new Wanzl neoHub self-service terminal can be ideally combined with the functional operation of access systems. As a modern ticketing solution for gyms, visitors can buy day tickets or a pass for 10 entries at the terminal as well as sign up for new memberships. This allows them to quickly and conveniently obtain their access authorisation, even at times when no personnel are present. The neoHub’s sleek design blends seamlessly into any studio interior. Cashless payment with bank cards as well as Apple and Google Pay is accepted.

More than just access: stylish studio equipment from Wanzl

As an experienced interior designer, Wanzl will not only be presenting the latest access and ticketing solutions for gyms at FIBO, but also modern interior fittings for designing your studio. For stylish changing rooms, for example, Wanzl has modern lockers for four people in its range, including electronic locks.
