The management, represented by Dr Klaus Meier-Kortwig and Frank Derks, thanked and commended the young workers for their outstanding work and commitment. Wanzl provides young trainees with first-rate training. The outstanding results achieved in the chamber examinations this year are again testament to this. Of a total of 27 graduates, thirteen achieved the top grade "1" (based on the German academic grading system where 1 is the top result and 5 is the lowest result), six of them with a grade-point average higher than 1.5.
In the presence of managers and the works council, Dr Klaus-Meier-Kortwig jointly with the trainers handed out the certificates, awards and prizes to twelve industrial mechanics (Maximilian Abold, Florian Affeld, Christian Bläßing, Marco Dolze, Maike Herkommer, Philipp Kober, Florian Meißle, Ferdinand Munk, Pascal Pauler, Maximilian Rueß, Florian Schiller and Armin Schmid), six precision mechanics (Tobias Dampf, Markus Hölzle, Johannes Mayer, Florian Springmann, Kilian Streicher and Johannes Wohnlich), five industrial administrative assistants (Bianca Christ, Moritz Hofmann, Julian Mendle, Tamara Rabus and Daniela Volk), two electronics engineers for industrial engineering (Daniel Drexler and Marvin Gräß), one IT specialist in systems integration (Nikolaus Streich) and one graduate of the dual study programme at the University of Applied Management (HaM) in Günzburg (Simone Stohr).
Many of Wanzl's young specialists received additional praise from the government of Swabia and the vocational schools on completion of their apprenticeship. Recognised as top of their class in their occupations were Kilian Streicher and Maximilian Abold. Particularly pleasing was that all trainees were offered a job. In conclusion, Gottfried Wanzl, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Wanzl Group, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the junior employees and the trainers and wished them all the best and continued success in their professional careers.
