Timeless design and smart high-tech from the future – Galactic presentation of the Galaxy Gate by Wanzl
Ready to take off – with a spectacular trade fair presentation, the "Space Team" of Wanzl Access Solutions took visitors to Security 2016 into the realm of a futuristic access system: the Galaxy Gate with timeless design and smart technology. The stand architecture already created a cosmic ambience for guests when checking in. They were welcomed by two Apollo 13 spacemen and their assistants in futuristic outfits. On board, they learned all they needed to know about the latest technology in the Access Solutions division. For example, thanks to a wide range of interfaces, such as OSDP (Open Supervice Device Protocol), the authorised release impulse for the Galaxy Gate is carried out completely seamlessly via external release units such as barcode readers, hand vein scanners or smartphones. The Galaxy Gate immediately opens its software-monitored, electromotive ESG swivel arms. Ceiling sensors also scan people and behaviour patterns and monitor the smooth operation.
