For over 60 years we have been establishing values with our high-quality products. In order to preserve these for the long term, we are continually investing in new technologies. In particular in the field of surface protection. We are the only manufacturer to refine all finishes ourselves in our in-house electroplating, surface coating and painting plants. Environmentally friendly, streamlined and highly individual.

Sustainable environmental protection

In a bid to protect the environment we established our own Environmental Committee many years ago. Our primary aim is to ease the burden on the environment, continually and for the long term, taking into consideration all applicable laws and requirements, and thus to safeguard unique environmental values for the benefit of future generations.

Even the unique surface technology Power Coating Plus contributes to our environmental protection efforts. Firstly, the coating process is completely solvent-free, and secondly, it provides long-term protection for your shopping trolleys so that they last even longer.

Complete protection that is second-to-none

Our modern in-house coating plants are state-of-the-art. Not only in terms of innovative surface technology, but also in terms of durability and environmental protection. Power Coating Plus consists of a special multi-layer system comprising electrogalvanising, electrodeposition painting and finally a powder coating to ensure long-lasting protection from corrosion and an attractive finish.

Power Coating Plus: Surfaces with deep-penetrating protection

A Wanzl shopping trolley is capable of withstanding the most extreme of loads. Whether in summer or winter, and in sun, rain or snow – thanks to our innovative surface technologies, the wire basket will remain attractive and free from corrosion, even after many years of service. First and foremost is our new coating system, Power Coating Plus. It provides a unique surface quality and protects the paint finish from red rust even if there is slight damage to the paint.

Our Power Coating Plus surface technology enables us to achieve unique quality and consistency of structure. It ensures a longer service life and durability for your shopping trolley. If required, we can create a surface finish that incorporates your corporate design using virtually any colours and effects.

Appealing colours

Customised, uniform, harmonious: the colour scheme in the store leaves a lasting impression on your customers – and encourages shopping. At least it will if the colour scheme on your shopping trolleys matches that on your shop fittings. It is an undeniable fact that colours can be either energising or relaxing – and, what is more, they reinforce your corporate design.

Super Protect

Wanzl's classic Super Protect also gives your shopping trolleys long-lasting protection from corrosion and ensures a durable, attractive, transparent high-gloss finish. To achieve this, we refine wire baskets and metal components in our electroplating plant with a chrome-plated high-gloss zinc coating. A baked on protective plastic varnish provides the special surface finish. 

Chrome

Our high-gloss chrome finish is specially designed for indoor applications. It protects wire baskets and metal components against normal to moderate stresses and strains such as collisions or wear and tear as a result of scuffing. The high-gloss finish adds a visually attractive element.

Extra protection in colour

For yet more protection and colour effect try the optional Wanzl plastic protectors. Choose from basket corner protectors, bumper rails, basket flap damping, handle caps and deflector rings – all protectors are highly impact-resistant and available in a range of standard colours. For that customised touch, we will of course supply all plastic parts in your corporate design colours if required.

Choose from bumpers, guide rails and partition systems – Wanzl customer guidance systems offer complete protection for products and shop fittings.

Appealing noise reduction

Whether a trolley is being nested or manoeuvred on uneven ground, metal on metal often produces an unpleasant noise. Our complete coating, Power Coating Plus, noticeably reduces the level of noise in the store, thereby soothing the nerves of both customers and staff alike.

Wanzl guarantee

We offer an extended Wanzl guarantee in addition to the statutory warranty: 5 years on the resistance of the trolley to metal corrosion and 10 years on the stability of the welded joints on the trolley.
