Outstanding results by Wanzl trainees

A total of 28 graduates received their certificates

Results are once again distinctly above the average for the chamber

As part of the 2013 vocational graduation ceremony held this spring, 28 graduates from the Wanzl plants in Leipheim and Kirchheim received their leaving certificates. On this occasion, managing partner Gottfried Wanzl greeted the young employees at the Wanzl Creative Center. He expressed his heartfelt thanks in recognition of the outstanding commitment shown by the new junior employees.

Wanzl: The youth is the future

Vocational training at Wanzl is a success story that has once again resulted in outstanding achievements in the chamber examinations: of the 28 graduates, 15 achieved a grade of between 1 and 1.9, seven of whom even achieved between 1.0 and 1.5. Several of the new junior employees received a commendation from the Swabian government and from the vocational training college. Two of the graduates received a special prize for the best results in the district. Trainers Wolfgang Seitz and Michael Glogger confirmed: "With this achievement, the results of the junior employees at Wanzl are once again distinctly above the average for the chamber."
Together with the trainers, specialist staff, managers and the works council, Gottfried Wanzl handed out the certificates, awards and prizes to twelve industrial mechanics, five precision mechanics, four industrial administrative assistants, three electronics engineers for industrial engineering, one mechatronics engineer, one machine and plant operator, one IT specialist and one graduate of the dual degree course at the University of Applied Management (FHAM) in Günzburg.

Lifelong learning

Gottfried Wanzl praised the young people for their excellent results and, at the same time, expressed his gratitude to the responsible specialist staff who have guaranteed the high quality of the apprenticeship and dual degree course for a number of years: "Companies like Wanzl that invest in sound training are the winners of tomorrow. Well-qualified junior staff secure the further development of the company."In his speech addressed to the new Wanzl staff members, Gottfried Wanzl emphasised how pleased he was that all the graduates could be offered a position after the apprenticeship. He appealed to the young adults to expand their specialist knowledge, continue to develop themselves further and to never lose sight of social and emotional skills. "Be ambitious when pursuing your goals, but never at someone else's expense. Question critically, but always remain constructive. Maintain virtues such as honesty, courage, reliability and the willingness to help others. A combination of these virtues is the best basis for a successful career."
