Children’s hospice donation

Wanzl trainees and students donate funds

The commercial and industrial/technical trainees and students of Wanzl Metallwarenfabrik GmbH provided refreshments to the many visitors to the Leipheim Christmas Market, in addition to small works of art made of wire and steel.

The more than EUR 1,500.00 raised was recently donated to the St. Nikolaus children's hospice in Bad Grönenbach. This children’s hospice is one of the few in the whole of Germany that provides assistance to families with children who have serious illnesses or incurable diseases, in particular during the acute phase. Besides young patients, the hospice also provides support to parents and siblings, relieving some of the stress experienced during this time. The St. Nicholas children’s hospice also assists relatives in the dying and grieving phases and provides support during this difficult time. Wanzl trainees and students support this special type of work, which would not be possible without donations, with their contribution.
