A diverse product range requires expertise of a special kind
Czech haberdashery company STOKLASA trusts Wanzl's broad product portfolio
Stylish fashion accessories, fine fabrics, colourful decorations, modern fashion jewellery and a wide range of craft accessories: The Czech company STOKLASA offers 43,000 articles from the haberdashery, fabrics and fashion accessories sector. The wholesaler and retailer is one of the top 100 companies in the Czech Republic and operates a network of 13 branches in six locations. The diverse product range places particular demands on the warehouse equipment in Bolatice (CZ), which is why STOKLASA has trusted the broad product portfolio of logistics expert Wanzl CZ since 2018.
Based on STOKLASA's plans for a new merchandise management and ordering system, Wanzl recommended the right equipment with which these ideas could be realised. The aim was to provide customers with a better overview of the availability of various items and to enable faster processing of orders. A wide range of Wanzl material handling products were used to equip the warehouse, including many tried-and-tested standard products. As these essentially already met all the criteria for inventory systems, there was no need for many modifications. STOKLASA uses the reliable pallet systems from Wanzl that are ideal for the storage of light, voluminous items such as polystyrene balls, filling material or rolled up blankets. For the storage of fabric rolls, only the height of the pallet bars has been adjusted.
STOKLASA also uses the robust and manoeuvrable RC/N3 roll cages and the KT3 order picking trolleys for transporting goods. The KT3 order picking trolleys were also equipped with durable castors with a wide polyurethane tread to ensure easy handling on grid flooring. High-performance transport trolleys are also used for the smooth storage and retrieval of medium-sized goods and containers. Mobile workplaces also simplify on-site inventory tasks. Finally, ram protection bars protect the valuable new warehouse equipment from damage. CEO Leo Stoklasa is visibly impressed: "The cooperation with Wanzl is very good and the sales employees always find a suitable solution. We equipped the warehouse on the basis of their recommendations, and the elements have proven to be very successful in practice." Wanzl and STOKLASA will therefore continue to work closely together in the future.
